THIS is a very wonderful bit of writing by Gabrielle Calvocoressi on why she chose Harmony Holiday's forthcoming (in about a week) book, Negro League Baseball for the Rumpus Poetry Book Club. NLB won the 2011 Motherwell Prize, and comes with a beautiful accompanying audio work by Harmony Holiday, and will be ready to ship in about a week.
